Totally Killer, Bodies, Coffee | KT Blog

I love it when there are tons of things to watch, it makes it so difficult to choose and so exciting! I’ve already watched The Fall of the House of Usher, which was quite strange and rather splendid. Started watching True Detective in anticipation of the new season in January with Jodie Foster, which looks like it will be brilliant. And am now deep into Bodies.

And as a coffee addict, I love finding a new coffee to enjoy. So, when a particular coffee brand crossed my socials with a trial pack offer I pounced on it. And I’m glad I did.

Totally Killer

Like most of you, I saw the Blumhouse posts and emails about it and felt that it was my duty to give it a watch -okay, I was totally excited to see it. Put it on as soon as I saw it on Amazon and settled in. I have to say, there were a few cringe moments where I just wanted to hide but some films just get you like that. Loved the fringe jacket, obviously. And marvelled at the brightness of the late 80’s -I was young back then and don’t remember there being so much colour.

When the infamous “Sweet Sixteen Killer” returns 35 years after his first murder spree to claim another victim, 17-year-old Jamie accidentally travels back in time to 1987, determined to stop the killer before he can start.

Then there was besties mom played by Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson (Big Sky, The Rookie) and Kimberly Huie (The Blacklist, Rookie Blue). And Randall Park (Wanda Vision, Always Be My Maybe) as Sheriff Dennis Lim.

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Bodies

Started this one yesterday and I’m still watching but loving it already. The further you get in the more twisty it gets. An 8 episode mini series on Netflix, this drama will have you hooked and curious for answers within no time -and then it just keeps giving more.

Four detectives in four different time periods of London find themselves investigating the same murder.

Coffee, Coffee, Coffee

I love coffee! As I previously mentioned, a taster pack offer made it’s way into my social media feeds and I couldn’t resist ordering one.

H.R. Higgins (coffee man) Ltd, as the website says, sent me the most beautifully packaged taster pack (I paid for it, this is not a sponsored post) with three sample packs inside. There’s a tea option if you prefer tea to coffee but I’m always gonna pick the coffee. You can choose your grind, based on the way you make your coffee. And you get a £5 voucher, to spend in the online store, in your taster pack. They pick three coffees based on the grind you select, and send enough for three cups of each.

I got India Malabar Monsooned, which according to the little card in the box has flavour notes of burnt sugar, walnut and bitter chocolate. Colombia Supreme, which has a mellow sweetness with flavours from dark chocolate, brown sugar, and dark berries. And last but not least, the Creole Blend that has notes of dark chocolate, rich cacao, and a blackberry finish.

Any coffee with chocolate notes has my attention so these three couldn’t have been picked better. But it’s going to take me a while to decide. And I just might have to order a few of these for Christmas presents (and a big bag of my favourite, when I pick, for myself), they’re perfect letterbox gifts.
