Spotted Return to Silent Hill available on Prime, so you know it was an immediate watch. I loved Silent Hill (the movie -nope, I’ve never played the game. Maybe I should?), so creepy and with the most amazing monsters and characters. It’s one of those movies that just stick in your head. I’d seen the trailers for this one, and it looked equally good. So, I grabbed a coffee (essential), a bowl of Fish Food Ice Cream, and settled in to enjoy.

Yup, adding it to my rewatch list: a rather dark and twisty film, Return to Silent Hill feels a little confusing at first but takes you on a journey of revelation. I’ve always been partial to the falling ash scenes, and there are plenty of those. But there’s so much more in this one. Art in the darkness, you might say.
And whilst the first of these films will always be my favourite, this one doesn’t disappoint.
