You know when you put something to the back of your mind, an ‘I’m gonna do it later’ thing, and then later never happens because more things come along and they seem more immediate than the other thing so you do those things first. Until eventually you forget that other thing you were gonna do. And then one day, months after you should have done it, the thought slaps you in the face on your drive home and you’re like ‘damn’. You know, those things?
Well, on my drive home from work last night, that thing I was meant to do about two months ago slapped me in the brain. And I’m like, “Damn, I should have done that. I’ll do it tomorrow.” So here we are, Saturday, and guess what I learned about that thing I was meant to do? I should have done it two months ago!

I’m telling myself it’s okay, I have a lot of things on my plate at the moment, and I’m making a start on it today.
I forgot Coverfly was ceasing to be a thing!
All of my script images on this website say View on Coverfly with a link if you click. I haven’t written a new script in a while, as I’m working on a novel (Long Undead), but that doesn’t mean I want the ones I have written to disappear into the void. So I need to update those images, and figure out where I’m going to share my finished scripts (obviously they’re on my website, but you only know that if you come here).
These are my current available scripts:
- Moon (Low budget, werewolf movie, set in Romania mostly)
- The First Voyage of Sindra (feature length, probably shockingly expensive to make, remake of Sinbad)
- Vampire Queen (short comedy)
If you have any ideas about where I should put my scripts, please let me know. I really enjoy writing them but feel like getting them in front of the right people is a challenge. Plus, I probably need to write something that would be a little easier to make with a small budget. I’ll probably do something like that when I’ve finished this novel -I do love switching between the two formats.
Anyway, I’ve got some stuff to get on with. But just so you know, no post next weekend as I have a completely unrelated work thing that I have to go to. It’s the kind of job that works really well romanticised on social media (even though it’s nothing like that at all) and that perhaps someone might write a hallmark type movie about. Damn it, I just had an idea!
