A House of Dynamite | KT Review

Bombarded with trailers and clips of A House of Dynamite on social media, I couldn’t resist watching it when this movie came on Netflix. Dramatic and well shot, it really got the intrigue going in the first act. Raising the stakes and very quickly making things personal for the characters so we, the viewer, would feel invested. And then…

Staring Idris Elba (The Losers, Thor: Ragnarok), Rebecca Ferguson (Dune: Part One, Doctor Sleep) , Gabriel Basso (The Night Agent, The Strangers) , Jarred Harris (Chernobyl, The Terror), Anthony Ramos (Ironheart, Twisters), and Moses Ingram (The Queen’s Gambit, Day 74).

When a single, unattributed missile is launched at the United States, a race begins to determine who is responsible and how to respond.

A House of Dynamite Review Conclusion

…it starts all over again. This movie is essentially the first act told three times from a different point of view. By the third go around I was wondering why. And, honestly, I never got an answer.

There were some great characters in this, and I loved the attention to detail. I could easily see this as a TV series – perhaps a limited series, just so long as it wasn’t the same story from a different pov each episode.

Let me know what you think, did you watch it already or will you be skipping this one?
