Imagine going for a job interview, and the interviewer already knows everything about you. You can’t hide anything about your history, those gaps you can’t explain, your social media history – and even the stuff you deleted. And then it asks you to do something completely unexpected.

The Job Review Conclusion
I would watch more of this: After watching The Job, I can easily imagine a future where an AI will interview us, programmed to be the perfect interviewer for us personally, and deciding whether we are the right candidate for a role based on the information it gathers. But this short took it to another level, not just using the data readily available to it or from asking the candidate questions but also using a randomly selected set of tarot cards to decide whether he would get the job. This was an unusual but appealing idea, and perhaps the AI gathered insights more from his reactions to the meaning of the cards than from the cards he selected. I really enjoyed this short, a truly brilliant piece that raised some interesting questions for me.
