Werwulf, a potentially terrifying movie from Robert Eggers, has a projected release date of Christmas Day 2026 in North America. So, the rest of us will, more than likely, get it early in 2027. Collaboratively written with Sjón, the co-author of The Northman. The collaboration includes Eggers and Sjón producing with Focus Films, who are also taking on the responsibilities of financing.

Set in 13th-century England, the story uses period-accurate dialogue, meaning you may need to learn some Middle English to fully appreciate it. There’s not much info on IMDb but I’ll update this post as soon as there are (and anything else I hear about it too).
His other movies include The Witch, The Lighthouse, The Northman, and currently in development Labyrinth 2.
Robert Eggers’ latest masterpiece, Nosferatu, is a box-office juggernaut, surpassing $156 million in revenue and showing no signs of slowing down, demonstrating the power of his filmmaking. But for those of us captivated by the film’s charm rather than its box office success, it’s already a favorite among viewers.
Nosferatu is coming to streaming soon in the UK, but is (as per usual) already available in the states.
