Don’t Worry Darling, Voodoo Dolls, John Wick 4 | KT Blog

Saturday was an interesting day, Don’t Worry Darling was a great watch as I sat with pencil and paper to design Voodoo Dolls. And John Wick Chapter 4 was awesome, as expected.

Don’t Worry Darling | KT Review

Don’t Worry Darling is beautifully shot, set in the 50s, a perfect community all working for the same company with gorgeous houses, friendships, outfits, families, and only one rule. Don’t leave the confines of the community, because out there it is dangerous.

“But yet here you are, preparing dinner, like a good girl.”

-Frank, Don’t Worry Darling

It makes me think of Suburbia and Stepford Wives. That dark secret hidden under a perfect setting.

Starring Chris Pine, Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Olivia Wilde, KiKi Layne, and Gemma Chan.

A 1950s housewife living with her husband in a utopian experimental community begins to worry that his glamorous company could be hiding disturbing secrets.

Voodoo Dolls

This is where my blog and side hustle collide. I’ve always made poppets or voodoo dolls or hoodoo dolls or whatever you call them. Usually by hand, on the rare occasion I feel the need to make them.

They make good cat toys that have the ability to weird out guests. Just fill them with cut up plastic bags and a pouch of catnip and your cat will be entertained for about twenty minutes.

So I’m going to use some of the equipment at the side hustle to make them even better. I’m working on some designs. A cat toy version and a doorstop version. With a bit of luck, they won’t give me any problems.

John Wick Chapter 4

The rental price has finally dropped to acceptable levels (of course I’ll be buying it on dvd too -an absolute must for the collection) and I couldn’t resist any longer.

Ah, tchi, garar, argh

-John Wick, John Wick Chapter 4

As expected, Chapter 4 was brilliant, bringing more drama and depth to an already intense story. Not afraid to introduce new characters, give them a dramatic fight scene and then kill ’em off, there’s plenty of action and an abundance of new moves.

A little intense towards the end though 😳

Starring Keanu Reeves, Lance Reddick, Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, Donnie Yen, and, amongst many others, Bill Skarsgard.

John Wick uncovers a path to defeating The High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes.

I have to admit, I’m enjoying writing these things on the app as I go about my day rather than sat at the computer. I’d love to know if you’re enjoying this style post as much as I am -Give it a like or a share if you do 😁
