Art in the Pen -My Gallery Wall | KTBlog

An amazing place to discover new artists, each having a stand in one of the cattle pens (clean, of course) to display their art. And it was incredible, so many different mediums, styles, and visions. Below I’ve shared my favourites from the day -some I bought art from and others I will be adding over time. I’m being picky about my gallery wall, I want dark, gothic, moody, paintings and sculptures. And I’d like some huge pieces but I’ll have to save the pennies for those.

The artist I most looked forward to finding, once I’d looked through who was going to be there, was Lincoln Lightfoot with his octopi and dinosaurs and aliens.

Then the incredible monsters of Emma O’Brien and her beautiful swimmers paintings.

Next I fell in love with the beautifully moody seascapes of Angela Darling

And the incredible towers of buildings, like a city all crammed together on top of each other, of Matthew Ellwood

I got an incredible piece from Judy Musselle -inspired by her own cat’s adventures.

Then there was the fascinating hand drawn maps from Manuscript Maps -I’d love to add a map to my wall but which one?

And I bought a bat from John Rattenbury -I haven’t named h yet but he’s already on my wall.

Follow these artists, check out their websites, and consider adding their art to your walls.

And if you know of any incredible artists that might suit my gallery wall, let me know.
