Wolf, Shark Week, Planetary Alignment | KT Blog

How’s your week been? Mine has been crazy weird, everything from software updates to unexpected awkward interactions to dramatic mood swings have been causing chaos and apparently, it’s all to do with the new Planetary Alignment. Oh, and the full moon, and eclipse. And it’s not going well for the Sharks either (have you seen Eli Roth’s posts on the subject?). But I decided to dive into the BBC’s new drama series Wolf.

Wolf

Any show with Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) in playing it innocent immediately raises my suspicions. So obviously I had to give it a watch.

In an isolated house in the country a family find themselves the victims of a terrifying psychopath’s cruel games.

-Wolf, IMDb-

Causing chaos alongside Iwan, we have Sacha Dhawan (Dracula, Iron Fist). Ukweli Roach (Blindspot, The Midwich Cuckoos) following a dog’s lead to the answers. And Juliet Stevenson (The Enfield Haunting, Riviera), Owen Teale (Game of Thrones, The Rig), and Annes Elwy (Hidden, Apostle) suffering the strange torturous attentions of two very smart men.

Definitely worth a watch if you like a good, twisted, dark detective drama.

Shark Week

As per usual, the majority of the content is on Discovery and most of it for the American viewers. Unfortunately, I don’t have Discovery but I’ve managed to find a few new shark shows on Disney+

What I’ve found interesting to follow is Eli Roth’s posts about the Shark Hunting taking place -and the promotion of a hunter who killed a pregnant shark.

Planetary Alignment

Apparently all the chaotic drama, unusual circumstances when they should be going just the same as usual, and peculiar inconveniences are down to the planets having a shift around.

We had a full corn moon on the 1st (and there’s going to be another one on the 30th, so there’s that). And then there’s Mars planning a move into Libra, Mercury going retrograde as summer ends, the full moon in Aquarius at the beginning of the month. It’s gonna be a whole month of weird shit by the sounds of it. But I’m not an astrologist and as much as I find it interesting to read, and pull tarot cards for star signs, I have no idea what any of it means. I do know it seems to have an impact on us here on this planet.
