The trailers made me want to watch Crime 101, so they did their job. But someone tell me, why do I get Columbo vibes off Mark Ruffalo now? I mean, he’s a smidge rougher around the edges, but if they ever remade Columbo he’s a contender.
There’s also a hint of The Transporter in here. And Bourne in places. And I’m not mad about it.

An elusive thief, eyeing his final score, encounters a disillusioned insurance broker at her own crossroads. As their paths intertwine, a relentless detective trails them hoping to thwart the multi-million dollar heist they are planning.

Crime 101 Review Conclusion
Something a little different for Hemsworth, and yet not totally. It’s an oddly human film, layered with detail whilst somehow still keeping you curious. Like its been seasoned with all of the really good action, thriller, spy, crime movies we’ve had in the last 30 years and a dash of Steve McQueen.
But with its own twisted, gritty, storyline that asks you to be patient. And as things start to flip, the connections change, and world’s colide – it rewards your patience. Loved this movie, it will be one I watch again and again. It’s a movie very much grounded in real life.
Writer, reviewer, and occasional chaos-collector -the kind who laughs through the plot twists and finds magic in the strange corners of storytelling. I explore films, stories, and the wonderfully weird… and yes, moths are still my sworn enemies.
