Black Mirror, A Night Away, Slow Horses | KT Blog

Have you started watching Black Mirror Season 6 yet? Five episodes of weirdness but with quite a different vibe to previous series. The last two episodes have been my favourite this time around and once you watch them, you’ll know why.

Starring Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad, Westworld), Anjana Vasan (Spider-Man: Far From Home, Cinderella), Monica Dolan (Eye in the Sky, Pride), Annie Murphy (Russian Doll, Murderville), Salma Hayek (Frida, Desperado), and Paapa Essiedu (Gangs of London, The Lazarus Project).

An anthology series exploring a twisted, high-tech multiverse where humanity’s greatest innovations and darkest instincts collide.

A Night Away

But don’t worry, I had plenty of coffee, snacks, and access to more TV than I usually have access to, the only question was, what did I watch first? (I’ll give you a hint, you can see your reflection in them and use them for scrying).

If this post seems a little off, or different to usual, it’s because I had to use the app to write and post -something that’s completely new to me- because I’ve been cat sitting. So I gave the app a shot and hoped it would all go to plan.

Also, my Twitter posts might be a little light this coming week -on both channels- as none of that is automated anymore. It went wrong far too many times. So until I find a better solution it’s just me plugging them into a scheduled posting app. And I haven’t had the time yet. So, if you feel like helping me gain a little reach, share this post or your favourite post.

Slow Horses

I don’t have Apple TV+ myself, so being able to watch it whilst I cat sat meant I got to watch those shows I’ve been missing out on. I started with Slow Horses because I’ve wanted to see it for ages!

Starring Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), Jack Lowden (Small Axe, Dunkirk), Kristin Scott Thomas (Only God Forgives, Gosford Park), Saskia Reeves (Luther, Dune), Chris Reill (Wrath of Man, Game of Thrones), and Rosalind Eleazar (The Personal History of David Copperfield, Uncle Vanya).

Follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve as a dumping ground department of MI5 due to their career-ending mistakes.
