Unbelievable Review

Even with people you can trust, if the truth is inconvenient, they don’t believe it.

Marie, Unbelievable

Unbelievable Review Conclusion

Will there be a Season 2? – It’s unlikely there will be a second season of this limited series. The story of Marie and the trauma she went through was concluded in the first season and as a result there is nothing further to explore. A second season would require a different crime and may not involve the detectives we’ve already met -of course, it could always work like True Detective which sees different pairings of detectives each season. And seeing this kind of thing with strong female leads wouldn’t be a bad thing.

I really enjoyed this limited series. The characters were great and the story, based on real life events, kept moving. Telling several different characters stories and allowing connections to come easily and unexpectedly. I would love to see another season, whether that happens or not might depend on the ratings -so get watching.
