The Snowman – An Icy Crime Drama | KT Review

Blood on the Snow

Another snowy movie set in the city of Bergen, Norway, The Snowman is a crime mystery with an icy twist. Even when I thought I’d figured out who the killer was I still wasn’t certain enough to say it out loud.

The Snowman

Without intending to Detective Harry Hole begins investigating a case where a woman’s scarf is wrapped around a snowman and she is nowhere to be found. Partnered with a  recruit, they must find who is behind it quickly, because, one by one, more women are going missing and it seems like a repeated pattern from a decades-old cold case.

Starring Michael Fassbender (Alien: Covenant, X-Men: Apocolypse)Rebecca Ferguson (Life, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation)Charlotte Gainsbourg  (Dark Crimes, Independence Day: Resurgance), Jonas Karlsson (Black Mirror, Beck), Chloë Sevigny (Big Love, American Horror Story), and Val Kilmer (The Traveller, Tombstone).

Currently available on Netflix and to buy on Amazon Prime (click the image).

The Snowman Review Conclusion

I would watch it again: – I enjoyed the Snowman, a little slow to get into at first but it kept me guessing. With the killer ahead of them it seems like he wants to be caught, but there’s so much more to it than that. This isn’t just a cat and mouse game.
