Unstoppable -High-Speed Tension | KT Reviews

Can’t say no to trains. And Unstoppable brings the trains, the drama, and the tension thick and fast. Who’d have thought it, a film about trains that keeps you on the edge of your seat? Sit back, if you can, and enjoy the ride.

Unstoppable

His first day on the job and it’s already going wrong, Will climbs aboard the engine with veteran engineer Frank to start what should be a day of Will putting his training into practice under the watchful eye of Frank. Little do they know that somewhere up the line there’s an unmanned, half-mile-long, freight train picking up speed and heading for the city and railway personnel desperately trying to stop it.

Starring Chris Pine as Will (Star Trek, Wonder Woman), Denzel Washington as Frank (The Equalizer 2, The Magnificent Seven), Rosario Dawson (Death Proof, Zombieland: Double Tap), Ethan Suplee (Good Girls, Santa Clarita Diet), Kevin Dunn (Transformers, Thunder Force), Kevin Corrigan (Ray Donovan, Godfather of Harlem), and Lew Temple as Ned (The Devil’s Rejects, Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood).

Review Conclusion

So much tension! -Love this movie from start to finish. The characters all have their own quirks, there’s tension on and off the tracks, and it rarely lets you take a breather. It starts out adding a dash of suspense here and there then lets you know that everyone doesn’t get along before demonstrating just how dangerous these trains are. And then you’re invested and there’s just nothing more you can do but watch and see what happens. It’s one of my favourite go-to movies and if you haven’t seen it yet you should definitely give it a watch. I’ve watched this a ton of times and am still on the edge of my seat every time.
