Soul Mates -Short Film | KT Review

I do love a good short! Soul Mates, from writer Jim Sea and director Michelle Thomlinson, is not a horror but a question about recognising your soul mate in your next life. Starring Sydney Carvill (Moon Students, Keep in the Dark) as Poppy. Otgadahe Whitman-Fox (Big Sky, Dead for a Dollar) as the barista. Josh Horton (Army of the Dead, Daybreak) as Nigel. Jim Sea (Found Footage, The Justin Effect) as Sean. Ian A. Hudson (Better Call Saul, Longmire) as Jaime. And Kristine Isom as Abby. This short is somewhat of an emotional rollercoaster, so grab that box of tissues and buckle up!

When an elderly couple learns one of them has only six months to live,
they must decide how to spend the rest of this life and how to recognize
each other in the next.

Soul Mates Review Conclusion

This film really had me engrossed. Definitely a lot in a short amount of time. The characters really brought those emotions to life and had me feeling the feels. An enjoyable watch with a slight twist at the end that I couldn’t help but grin at.
