It Wasn’t Me
Whilst Game Over, Man! is not a horror or western it did look fun. So in a slight deviation from the norm, I sat back to watch this action comedy. And then put my hands over my eyes and cried -kinda. It’s the sort of film where you wonder if they wrote the initial “ideas” high and then fleshed it out sober. And then, you know, looked to see what some other movies did. But there was a really cool end to the hostage situation. And Shaggy was in it.
Game Over, Man!
On the verge of having their video game financed, three friends are working as waiters, when their benefactor gets taken hostage by terrorists. They need to get their acts together, stop fighting amongst themselves, and be the rescuers the hostages need.
Starring Adam Devine (Pitch Perfect, Modern Family), Anders Holm (The Intern, How to be Single), Blake Anderson (Dope, Epic), Chloe Bridges (Pretty Little Liars, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates), Andrew Bachelor (The Babysitter, We Are Your Friends), and Neal McDonough (Arrow, 1922).
Game Over, Man! Review Conclusion
I might watch it again – Game Over, Man! had some amazing moments, like when they were hanging from the ironing board between two buildings. Then there were the slightly embarrassed for them moments (you can pick your own). But the further in you got, the better it got -kinda, mostly. And was it absolutely necessary to do that to the dog? Maybe watch it after you’ve had a few drinks – it’ll be totally hilarious then.
