Devil’s Knight Review Conclusion
Hot damn, that was good!: The monsters were so good, loved them, especially that one that seemed to be camouflaged into the tree. There were some stunning shots, both from characters hitting others (and occasionally missing) and from the camera crew filming. And a mixture of comedy, touching moments, and furious action wove their way through this story, keeping me both entertained and enthralled.
Set in a kingdom that had thought they’d seen the last of battle, and still reeling from the losses and the memories, the King interacts with fighters in the hope of ridding the land from the new threat of the monsters that now plague them. And there’s a particularly excellent scene in the monster torture room. That’s all I’m going to say, no spoilers. There’s a lot going on in the Devil’s Knight, layers of intrigue and plots. The promise of monsters and knights, with a host of familiar faces, and each character with their own story, buildt more depth into the main storyline. This is a perfect Sunday afternoon movie. Especially if the kids are off playing.
