Day Shift -Cutting Necks & Cashing Cheques | KT Review

Well, the Day Shift would seem like a sensible time to catch and kill vamps. They’re sleeping, you’re creeping, and you’ve go the advantage because they’re not expecting it and they’re half asleep. Only, this time, those vamps got some flexi-moves, and they ain’t all following normal protocols when it comes to sleeping and staying out of the sun. Some of them are getting ideas, some of them are getting into real estate. And when them vamps start having ideas, well, a stop has got to be put. Hard and fast! And if you make a little money out of it, all the better.

Day Shift written over a row of palm trees against a blue sky because they're hunting vamps in the day

A hard-working, blue-collar dad who just wants to provide a good life for his quick-witted 8-year-old daughter. His mundane San Fernando Valley pool cleaning job is a front for his real source of income: hunting and killing vampires.

Day Shift on Netflix

I would watch another Day Shift: Well, them vamps had some wicked flexibility. Who knew they did yoga in their death. Was not expecting so many twisted scenes. Lots of violence from the get go, lots of weapons, and a decent amount of humour of the bloodless kind. Snoop’s got some moves, man. The story itself wasn’t anything spectacular, just another guy trying to get the money for his ex and kid to keep them from moving away and a greedy vamp trying to own housing estates and walk in the sun. Good tunes, good scenes, wicked moves, and a whole load of interesting outfits.
