6 Underground -How Far Would You Go? | KT Review

Eagerly anticipated, 6 Underground landed on Netflix on the 13th December and it was a blast. Lots of action, lots of fights and fast car scenes, and lots of Ryan Renolds doing what he does best. This is a fun easy watch with an interesting concept.

On Netflix

A tech billionaire fakes his death and recruits a team of highly trained international operatives to help him take down a brutal dictator, with just one catch. When you die nothing goes with you, all the troubles of your life cease to be a problem for you, so faking your death gives you a unique kind of freedom. A freedom that might allow you to fight the injustices of the world without anyone ever knowing of your involvement. No one will ever know, no one will ever congratulate you, and you will never be rewarded for your efforts.

Starring  Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool, Detective Pikachu), Mélanie Laurent (Inglorious Basterds, Now You See Me), Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Magnificant Seven, Murder on the Orient Express),  Ben Hardy (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Apocolypse), Adria Arjona (True Detective, Pacific Rim: Uprising), Dave Franco (Now You See Me 1&2, Nerve), and Corey Hawkins (Iron Man 3, Kong: Skull Island).

6 Underground Review Conclusion

I might watch it again – This film had feelings of The Transporter, Spiderman, and a huge dose of Ryan Renolds. Lots of speed, lots of action, and a few cool techie toys. A smidge week on the storyline but the final third really amped up for me and drew me in. Earlier on I kinda felt a little unsatisfied with the reasoning for doing things. But that aside it was very bright, lots of amazingly shot scenes, some incredible stunt work and rather enjoyable arguments between the characters -everyone had a very pronounced character which was fun.
