What is the Soul Game
The Soul Game centres around the Seven Deadly Sins. But when we look at these sins and what they mean, we find that more often than not we are already guilty of committing them. Either intentionally or not. The Seven Deadly Sins are thus called because committing any of them damns your soul to hell. However, there isn’t only one set of deadly sins. And, as with most things, there are a number of interpretations of their meaning. How many are you guilty of?
The Seven Deadly Sins
Sometimes called the Cardinal Sins, the Seven Deadly Sins are the extremes of your basic human needs. But you knew that already didn’t you? And they feel good. It’s not just eating – it’s standing in front of the fridge in your pyjamas, in the middle of the night, finishing off the bowl of trifle knowing someone could walk in and see at any moment. It’s not just being angry – it’s the wanton destruction of another’s property, reputation, life, because they deserve it…don’t they? And almost all of these sins -that will get you into trouble if found out- are said to be rooted in love. Whether you have it or not. Whether you love a thing or a person. Corrupted, excessive, perverted, love.
Love, that difficult to define, lost in the moment, pleasurable, feeling. And you know what they say:
“Surrender to love”
