I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I decided to watch Searching, I’d watched the trailers, read reviews, and I was very intrigued. Love John Cho in movies, you know he’s going to get right into the character and it was great to watch this father go from the initial concern into confusion and fear at his daughter’s disappearance. Was it her choice, who was hiding the truth, and what was he going to find when he eventually got to the end of the trail? A brilliant movie that kept me guessing.

Searching Review Conclusion
Deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole. – Searching is incredibly good at slowly revealing new pieces of information and showing you just how harrowing it is for a parent trying to figure out why and how their child went missing. Everyone is under suspicion except the person that should be. I really enjoyed how the reveals kept coming, and how one person after another seemed to hold the answers. I loved this film and will probably be watching it again. If anything, it had a somewhat slow build up before it really dragged you in.
