A Strange One to be Sure
I am Wrath is the story of a man whose wife is murdered, and when the police can’t do anything, he goes on a revenge spree. Trouble is, the cops are corrupt, he might be ex special ops but he’s out of practice, and the criminals seem to know a lot more than he does.
Starring John Travolta (Pulp Fiction, Face Off), Christopher Meloni (Man of Steel, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), Amanda Schull (Suits, Twelve Monkeys), and Sam Trammell (True Blood, Imperium), and directed by Chuck Russell (The Scorpion King, The Mask).
**Spoilers Ahead**
Another man out for revenge for something that happened to his family. It’s funny how many men are secretly capable of these things. With friends who have access to the names they need. And an armoury.
There are definitely a few weird bits where the conversation seems a little too constructed. And it felt a little soft. A little more padding around the middle and a little less muscle than some other movies of a similar vein. But saying all that, once you start to see why it happened everything starts to get a little clearer. And just have far it goes. What started out as an act of revenge begins to look like a much bigger problem. But can he solve it before the bad guys get to his family?
I Am Wrath Movie Review Conclusion
I would probably watch it again – Not a bad movie, but not a great movie either. There’s some nice fight scenes. Quite a bit of stuff that doesn’t go to plan. And little bit of torture.
