John Heffernan and Dolly Wells are set to enter the dark world of Dracula in Netflix and the BBC’s new drama. Consisting of three 90 minute episodes, written by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat and based on the novel by Bram Stoker, we will also see Mark donning 1897 garb in an as yet unknown role.
John Heffernan (Ripper Street, Eye in the Sky) and Dolly Wells (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Doll & Em) are joining Claes Bang (The Square, The Girl in the Spider’s Web) playing Dracula, as well as Joanna Scanlan (No Offence, Requiem), Morfydd Clark (The Falling, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies), and Lujza Richter (Phantom Thread, The Refuge).
As the cast and crew start to gather, filming will begin in the spring and will reintroduce the world to Dracula. I can’t wait!
