Fried Barry -Check out this crazy Alien Possession | KT Review

Recently distributed through iHorror, this short film is wild. Fried Barry is on it’s way to becoming a whole lot more with a feature film adaptation slated for release later in 2019. A dark and twisted thrill ride you’re sure to enjoy and just a taste of what is to come.

Feature Film Coming Soon

The short brings us a strung out heroin addict in an abandoned warehouse, tweaking out after a hit. And only a hint of what’s to come in the feature-length film that’s sprung from it. Fried Barry promises to be rule-breaking, genre-bending, boundary-pushing spectacle filled with sex, drugs, and violence. Following a drug-addled man, Barry, who gets abducted by aliens after yet another bender. Taking his body for a ride through Cape Town, the Alien experiences life as a human whilst Barry takes a back seat.

Directed by Ryan Kruger and starring Gary Green as Barry, Channel De Jager, Bia Hartenstein, Sean Cameron Michael, and Johnny Pienaar.

Fried Barry Review Conclusion

I would watch the feature film:- I found myself laughing out loud and fascinated by the short film. It was just so bizarre to watch. A brilliant idea and a break from the norm, the alien taking possession of the body of a drug addict and doing what he wants with it as he traverses the human experience is a truly out there concept that I can’t wait to see brought to life in the feature film.
