Wind River – It’s Cold on the Reservation | KT Review

A Tracker and a Rookie FBI Agent

From the writer of Hell or High Water, Taylor Sheridan, comes Wind River (which he’s also directing). And because I enjoyed Hell or High water so much I couldn’t resist this one. I am enjoying these new modern westerns.

Wind River

Deep in the Wind River Indian Reservation, the frozen body of a Native girl is found.  An inexperienced FBI agent is sent to investigate and teams up with Cory, the tracker who discovered the body, to unravel the mystery.

Starring  Kelsey Asbille (Teen Wolf, The Amazing Spider-Man)Jeremy Renner (Avengers Assemble, Tag)Julia Jones (Jonah Hex, Westworld), Teo Briones (Lethal Weapon TV Series, Longmire), Apesanahkwat (Ray Donovan, Longmire), Graham Greene (Longmire, Riverdale), and Elizabeth Olsen (Avengers: Age of Ultron, Godzilla).

Currently available on Netflix and to buy on Amazon Prime (click the image).

Wind River Review Conclusion

I will watch it again: – I really enjoyed this movie, lots of snow, not too many characters, and a twisting story that keeps you wondering and watching. Highly recommend this – it’s a crime drama, not a horror, with a western feel. If you liked Hell or High Water or Hollow Point likely you’ll enjoy this.
