The Order – OMG, So Good! | KT Review

Werewolves with a twist, magic with an order regularly twisted, and a long planned revenge that brings new truths to light. What’s not to love in The Order? I am completely unable to resist series about magic and werewolves and monsters, so the fact that I basically binged watched this over the weekend was a given. Okay, I had some work to do as well so it wasn’t quite as constant as I would have liked and a person’s gotta sleep. But it was just too good to stay away from for long.

On Netflix

When he goes to college it’s with one thing in mind, to avenge his mother’s death. Jack Morton, Jake Manley (Heroes Reborn, iZombie), and his Grandfather, Matt Frewer (Watchmen, Altered Carbon), have been planning it for quite some time and have quite the task ahead of them. Jack’s main task is to get into The Order of the Blue Rose and as he scrabbles for a clue he meets Alyssa Drake, Sarah Grey (Bates Motel, Power Rangers) who denies all knowledge of there being such an order.

Also starring Adam DiMarco (The Magicians, Zapped), Katharine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps, American Mary), Louriza Tronco (Supergirl, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb), Max Martini (Pacific Rim, 13 Hours), and Aaron Hale (Miss Sloane, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina).

The Order Review Conclusion

I would watch it again:- In fact, I insist that there is another season! It didn’t take itself too seriously, there was plenty of humour and a decent amount of blood splatter. A good story that kept throwing in a gentle curve ball here and there and then just smacking you in the face with stuff. There was always something happening inside what was happening, if that makes any kind of sense.

4.5 Stars

You’re going to want a few cocktails with this one, or at the very least a pint of beer. And maybe a basket of fries. A pizza wouldn’t go amiss either.
