The Boys on Prime -Hot Damn this is Messy | KT Review

Have you watched The Boys on Prime yet? A series about the other side of superheroing -the bad stuff, the not so pleasant stuff, the oops I ran through someone stuff. This is, hopefully, my spoiler-free review of a rather exciting series.

Now On Prime Video

Their faces are everywhere, on movie posters, billboards, soda, cereal, endorsing businesses. You just can’t miss them. And with superheros in town, what is there to be afraid of? Only the corrupt power abusing superheroes the world worships. With the sudden death of his girlfriend as he held her hands, Hughie joins a group of slightly disorganised vigilantes determined to bring the superheroes to justice -one way or another.

Starring Karl Urban (Star Trek, Thor: Ragnarok), Jack Quaid (Rampage, The Hunger Games), Antony Starr (Outrageous Fortune, Banshee), Erin Moriarty (Blood Father, Captain Fantastic), Dominique McElligott (House of Cards, The Last Tycoon), Jessie T. Usher (Independence Day: Resurgence, Shaft), and Simon Pegg (Slaughter House Rulez, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, The Cloverfield Paradox).

The Boys on Prime Review Conclusion

Yes! Yes, more please:- I would happily watch more, loving the slow-mo blood splatter to the face moments, the twisted ideas about revenge, the dark and dirty side of how those world-famous superheroes actually feel about each other. And how, as regular people, do you fight against the injustices and make your voice heard in a world where the focus is on all the good (money-making) stuff the superheroes do? Do you matter? Or are you really just collateral damage that can be spun to make a good story? With one plan in mind, although perhaps not exactly the same plan as the boys he’s joined forces with, Hughie intends to get some kind of justice for the girl he loved. The girl who met an unfortunately messy end in the wake of a superhero.
