Preacher Season 2 – Ep1 & 2 | KT Review

Vampires shouldn’t be out in the sun

Preacher stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joseph Gilgun as Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy. And after discovering God has gone missing, and their town blown up, they set out on a quest to find God. Well, what else were they going to do? This season begins where the Preacher Comics began (according to Dominic Cooper on The Late Late Show with James Cordon). Plus, they have that pesky cowboy following them.

**Spoilers Ahead**

Always an interesting mix of being on a quest and bending the rules. Episode 1 suggested that just possibly those rules have been thrown out of the window, trampled on my a heard of wild horses, and rained on before being soaked into the ground. But does that stop him in his search for God? Not one bit. Even if that means a visit to a strip club and a serious inability to sleep. I’m just not sure he ever imagined it would be quite so literal.

And then I watched episode 2! Wow there’s some crazy things happening in this one. Lots of drinking, a decent amount of shooting, and a whole heap of dying.

Preacher Season 2: Episodes 1 & 2 Review Conclusion

Yup, it’s a good ‘un – Preacher S2 so far so good! Everything from siphoning gas with intestines to that new form of therapy for addictions. Kept me watching to find out what happens next. And what do angels do when they get stuck on earth? Well, you’ll have to watch to find out.
