Midnight, Texas – Renewed for Season 2

Did you watch season 1?

Midnight, Texas is a safe haven for the supernatural community. And a number of none supernaturals too. The residents often hiding from their pasts and just trying to live quietly. So if any outsiders make an unexpected appearance and cause trouble this town comes together to deal with the intrusion. A strange ragtag bunch of misfits and sups create a family of sorts in Midnight, Texas.

Not much was expected from this show when it first aired. And not too much fuss was made about it. But it’s done a lot better than expected and the network has ordered a second season. I can’t wait.

Welcome to Midnight, Texas

We arrive in Midnight with Manford, a medium on the run, and the ghost of his Grandma. And soon meet the locals, vampires, shapeshifters, assassins, angels, witches, and humans.

From the author of True Blood, Charlaine Harris, Midnight, Texas is set in the same world with a whole host of new characters. In the first season, we saw them fight their own personal demons, plus a rather large one under the crossroads of Midnight itself.  Staying pretty true to the book series.

Season two

Will see Francois Arnaud (Manfred), Dylan Bruce (Bobo), Parisa Fitz-Henley (Fiji), Arielle Kebbel (Olivia), Peter Mensah (Lemuel), and Jason Lewis (Joe) returning to Midnight. Creek and the Rev. however, will not be returning for major roles.

It will be aired in the UK on the SyFy channel this year (2018) but so far there is no exact date set. Keep an eye on the monthly roundups, it will be in there as soon as I know the details. And I’ll update this page with more information as I get it.

And if you haven’t watched the first season yet, you can find it on Amazon Prime (click the picture).
