Happy! Make Easter Great Again | KT Review

If you haven’t watched season 1 of Happy then you should go do that now. I’ll wait -NOT! Gimp rabbits, donkey puberty, and jelly are all part of the ride this time around. And it’s one hell of a ride. Imaginary friends at the ready!

Season 2 On Netflix

An ex-police detective turned hitman and a small blue unicorn with a bit of an attitude have a new mission as his daughter (the hitman’s not the blue unicorns) starts having difficulty at school and makes an uncomfortable new friend. And then there’s Sunny Shine, that naughty little host, what is he up to now? The things Bo-Peep can do with a stick!

Starring familiar faces Christopher Meloni (Man of Steel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For), Lili Mirojnick (Cloverfield, Friends with benefits), Patton Oswalt (Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty), Medina Senghore (Blindspot, The Three Way), Ritchie Coster (The Dark Night, Let Me In), Bryce Lorenzo (Bull, Custody), and Patrick Fischler (Twin Peaks, Once Upon A Time).

Happy! Season 2 Review Conclusion

Looks like Halloween is on the Cards! – Messy, messed up, and totally weird, this is an amazing show. Absolutely love it. Seriously, it’s just the right amount of weird. Actually, it edges just over the right amount and into ‘I really wasn’t expecting that’ territory. Stylish, bright, and thoroughly entertaining. Fingers and toes firmly crossed (getting cramp) for a third season. Please, please, please, please!

5 Stars

Pink candy, pizza, whisky, pasta…easy stuff that’s in the cupboard probably. Stay away from the jelly, it does horrible things to the body as it turns out.
