Cargo – A Zombie Movie that hits you right in the Feels! | KT Review

Not Just Another Zombie Movie

I’ve just about had my fill of Zombies, iZombie being the only one I still regularly watch. But I do enjoy watching Martin Freeman movies and shows, can’t think of a bad one. So I figured I’d give it a go. And Cargo is not just another zombie movie. The stakes are high and in this race against time Andy (Martin) must find a way to reach the Aboriginal tribe thriving despite the outbreak. Just make sure you have a box of tissues handy.

Cargo

When a violent pandemic sweeps across Australia Andy and Kay hole up on a houseboat. But when they suffer a violent attack, Kay is left dead and Andy infected. He has only 48 hours to find someone willing to take care of his daughter before he becomes one of the creatures he has tried so hard to evade.

Starring  Martin Freeman (Sherlock, Black Panther)Anthony Hayes (Animal Kingdom, War Machine)Susie Porter (Pulse, Star Wars: Episode II), Caren Pistorius (Slow West, The Light Between Oceans), and Kris McQuade (Ned Kelly, Rosehaven).

Cargo Review Conclusion

I might watch it again: – If I feel like crying! Zombie movies are not meant to give you the feels, or perhaps that’s what other zombie films are lacking. Whilst you desperately wanted him to get a goddamned move on you also wanted that damn wristband to say something else. An excellent movie.
