Batwoman: Who the F**K is Alice? | KT News

Having recently been introduced to Ruby Rose as Batwoman in the Arrowverse, we will soon be meeting her arch nemesis, Alice. CW has cast Lost Girl’s Rachel Skarsten as the leader of the Wonderland Gang. Said to swing between maniacal and charming, she will be to Batwoman as the Joker was to Batman.

Batwoman

Ruby Rose joined the Arrowverse as Batwoman in the crossover event at the end of Arrow’s season 7. Where she met The Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl. But she has her own series coming up where she is primed to snuff out the city’s resurgence of criminal activity. And in Gotham, she will come up against Alice and her Wonderland Gang.

Like Batman, Batwoman must overcome her own demons before becoming the city’s hero. Ruby Rose, as Kate Kane, certainly has the skills to bring to this role. We’ve seen her kick ass in John Wick Chapter Two, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, and most recently in The Meg.

Alice

Played by Rachel Skarsten, who many will remember as the Valkyrie from Lost Girl. And Alice intends to raise hell in the streets of Gotham. And swinging between the crazy and the sweet sides of the character shouldn’t be a problem for her.

Rachel Skarsten has also been in Fifty Shades of Grey, played Queen Elizabeth I in Reign, and Poppy Langmore in the Imposters TV series. You might even have spotted her in Wynonna Earp as Eliza. A former dancer and sportswoman, Skarsten has certainly got a background that will lend itself to the Arrowverse character. And we can’t wait to see how this series will fold into the whole.

The Cast

Also joining them will be Camrus Johnson (Luke Cage, The OA) as Luke Fox, Nicole Kang (You, Orange Is the New Black) as Mary Hamilton, and Meagan Tandy (Teen Wolf, Unstopable) as Sophie Moore.
