A Christmas Carol | Guy Pierce as Ebenezer Scrooge

Coming to BBC One this Christmas in the UK and FX in the US, A Christmas Carol has been reimagined with Guy Pierce donning the mantle of Ebenezer Scrooge and Tom Hardy as Executive Producer alongside Ridley Scott(The Terror, The Martian), Dean Baker (Taboo, Driven to Extremes), Kate Crowe (Taboo, Misfits), Piers Wenger (Doctor Who, Blackout), and Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, See). And it seems this incarnation has brought an even darker feel, but then what would you expect from this line up of producers?

3 Episodes

Greed has hold of Ebenezer, who is visited by three spirits to show him the impact of his life in an attempt to save him.

Starring Joe Alwyn (Mary Queen of Scots, Harriet) as Bob Cratchit, Stephen Graham (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Lies) as Jacob Marley, Guy Pearce (The Innocents, Jack Irish) as Ebenezer Scrooge, Vinette Robinson (Sherlock, The A Word) as Mary Cratchit, Paul Chahidi (The Death of Stalin, Christopher Robin) as the Spirit of Businessman Past, Jason Flemyng (Pennyworth, Jamestown) as the Ghost of Christmas Future, and Andy Serkis (War of the Planet of the Apes, Avengers: Age of Ultron) as the Ghost of Christmas Past.
